First Friday in the Arts District Friday, Jan. 3
First Friday is a monthly art, music and food festival in the Arts District. Road closures start at 8 a.m. Jan. 3. Roads will reopen at 8 a.m. Jan. 4. Major closures: Boulder to Gass avenues, Art Way to Main Street. See the map below.
First Friday Restricted Access at Fremont Street Experience Friday, Jan. 3
Access restricted to those ages 21 and older from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Road closures start at 9 p.m. Jan. 3. Roads will reopen at 4 a.m. Jan. 4. Major closures: Casino Center Boulevard from Carson to Ogden avenues. See the map below.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade Monday, Jan. 20
38th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade held on the downtown 4th Street parade route. Road closures start at 5 a.m. Jan. 20. Roads will reopen at 4 p.m. Jan. 20. Major closures: 4th Street from Charleston Boulevard to Stewart Avenue and all side streets in between. Please note, staging is on Coolidge, Hoover and Gass avenues from Casino Center to Las Vegas Boulevard. See the map below.
Las Vegas Chinese New Year Spring Festival Parade Saturday, Jan. 25, 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Annual parade held in downtown Las Vegas to be held on Main Street. Road closures start at 5 a.m. Jan. 25. Roads will reopen at 3 p.m. Jan. 25. Major closures: Main Street between California Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. See the map below.
