First Friday in the Arts District
Friday, Dec. 6
First Friday is a monthly art, music and food festival in the Arts District.
Road closures start at 8 a.m. Dec. 6. Roads will reopen at 8 a.m. Dec. 7.
Major closures: Boulder to Gass avenues, Art Way to Main Street. See the map below.
First Friday Restricted Access at Fremont Street Experience
Friday, Dec. 6
Access restricted to those ages 21 and older from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Road closures start at 9 p.m. Dec. 6. Roads will reopen at 4 a.m. Dec. 7.
Major closures: Casino Center Boulevard from Carson to Ogden avenues. See the map below.
 The Las Vegas Great Santa Run
Saturday, Dec. 7
Annual 5K and 1-mile fun run/walk in downtown Las Vegas to raise money for the Opportunity Village, a nonprofit that serves adults with intellectual disabilities. All proceeds directly benefit the programs and services provided at Opportunity Village.
Road closures start at 7 a.m. Dec. 7. Roads will reopen at noon Dec. 7.
Major closures: Fremont Street to Hoover Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard to 10th Street. See the separate maps below for the 5K and 1-mile routes.
  New Year's Eve Bash
Tuesday, Dec. 31
Annual New Year's Eve party held on the Fremont Street Experience.
Road closures start at 9 a.m. Dec. 31. Roads will reopen at 4 a.m. Jan. 1.
Major closures: Fourth Street and Casino Center Boulevard between Carson and Ogden avenues; lane closure northbound on Main Street. See the map below.
