First Friday in the Arts District Friday, Sept. 6
First Friday is a monthly art, music and food festival in the Arts District. Road closures start at 8 a.m. Sept. 6. Roads will reopen at 8 a.m. Sept. 7. Major closures: Boulder to Gass avenues, Art Way to Main Street. See the map below.
First Friday Restricted Access at Fremont Street Experience Friday, Sept. 6
Access restricted to those ages 21 and older from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Road closures start at 9 p.m. Sept. 6. Roads will reopen at 4 a.m. Sept. 7. Major closures: Casino Center Boulevard from Carson to Ogden avenues. See the map below.
 The Betty-Jeanne Dedication Friday, Sept. 6
Re-opening of Parsons Place, re-named The Betty Jeanne. Ten floating units will be dedicated to the Continuum of Care program and the remaining 49 units will be affordable living in the downtown area. Road closures start at 7:30 a.m. Sep 6. Roads will reopen at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 6. Major closures: Seventh Street between Stewart and Ogden avenues. See the map below.
Gulf State Toyota 50th Anniversary Monday, Sept. 9
Gulf State Toyota will celebrate their 50 years in business in downtown Las Vegas. Road closures start at 6 a.m. Sept. 6. Roads will reopen at noon Sept. 10. Major closures: Single-lane closures on Robin Leach from Grand Central Parkway to Promenade Place and on Promenade Place from Bonneville Avenue to Robin Leach. See the map below.
Las Vegas Valley Firefighters Sept. 11 Remembrance and March Wednesday, Sept. 11
Remembrance ceremony and tribute in downtown Las Vegas. Road closures start at 2 p.m. Sept. 11. Roads will reopen at 10 p.m. Sept. 11. Major closures: Ogden Avenue intersection at Third Street; south half of Third Street between Stewart and Ogden avenues. See the map below.
Mix 94.1's Bite of Las Vegas Saturday, Sept. 14
Concert and food festival in the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. Road closures start at 8 a.m. Sept. 13. Roads will reopen at 6 p.m. Sept. 15. Major closures: Bridger Avenue from Casino Center Boulevard to Third Street, Third Street from Bridger to Carson avenues. See the map below.
Vegas Electronic Parade Saturday, Sept. 28
Music parade in The Las Vegas Arts District. Road closures start at 3 p.m. Sept. 28. Roads will reopen at 9 p.m. Sept. 28. Major closures: Main Street and First Street from Charleston Boulevard to Gass Avenue and all streets in between. See the map below.
Vegas Strong 5K Sunday, Sept. 29
A 5K running/walking event to raise money for the ongoing needs of the Las Vegas victims of the Oct. 1, 2017 tragedy. Road closures start at 4 a.m. Sept. 29. Roads will reopen at noon Sept. 29.
