NEWS WORTHY

Medicare Open Enrollment Seminar

Councilman Crear visits Courtyard Homeless Resource Center.

Courtyard Homeless Resource Center

The Courtyard is a starting point where homeless individuals can go to access resources all in one place within the Corridor of Hope. The initial phase of the Courtyard opened last year and now the city is moving forward to expand the property and build additional facilities adjacent to the current courtyard at 1401 Las Vegas Blvd. North (at Foremaster Lane).

Since August 2017, there have been thousands of requests for services at the Courtyard, and the city and service providers have been assisting in getting homeless off the streets and into housing.

Currently the Courtyard is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Get help by calling 702-229-6117 or email corridorofhope@lasvegasnevada.gov. See more resources at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/homeless.

For the fourth year, the city of Las Vegas has earned a 100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Municipal Equality Index, which evaluates the city’s commitment to non-discrimination policies, our leadership’s position on equality and the reality of equality in city employment and service. We're proud to excel in serving a diverse community!
