Below are the road closures being planned for April; a reminder will be sent a few days before the event. 

First Friday in the Arts District
Friday, April 6, 5-11 p.m.

First Friday is a monthly art, music and food festival in the Arts District. 
Closures start at 8 a.m. April 6.
Closures reopen at 8 a.m. April 7.
Major closures: Boulder Avenue to Gass Avenue, Art Way to Main Street. See the map below.

Friday, April 6

Access restricted to ages 21 and older from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. 
Closures start at 9 p.m. April 6.
Closures reopen at 4 a.m. April 7.
Major closures: Casino Center Boulevard from Carson to Ogden avenues. See the map below.

FSE First Friday

Great Vegas Festival of Beer
Friday and Saturday, April 6-7

Beer tasting in the World Market Center Pavilions. 
Event load-in at 7 a.m. April 4.
Event load-out at 11:30 p.m. April 7.
Expect heavy traffic in the downtown area near the World Market Center.  See below link for additional event information.

Teen Challenge Car Show
Saturday, April 7, 2-6 p.m.

This car show is a charity event to raise money for the Teen Challenge program in downtown Las Vegas. 
Closures start at 6 a.m. April 7.
Closures reopen at 8 p.m. April 7.
Major closures: 9th Street from Gass Avenue to East Clark Avenue and all side streets in between. See the map below.

Butterfly Release
Sunday, April 8, 1 p.m.

Outside Las Vegas Foundation, Nathan Adelson Hospice and the city of Las Vegas will partner to do a remembrance butterfly release at the Las Vegas Community Healing Garden, 1015 S. Casino Center Blvd., for the Oct. 1, 2017, tragic shooting victims.
Closures start at 1 p.m. April 8.
Closures reopen at 4 p.m. April 8.
Major closures: Casino Center Boulevard from Charleston Boulevard to Coolidge Avenue. See map below.

Best Buddies Friendship Walk
Saturday, April 14

Walk in downtown Las Vegas that raises awareness and funds to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Closures start at 3 a.m. April 14.
Closures reopen at 2 p.m. April 14.
Major closures: Grand Central Parkway and City Parkway to Symphony Park Avenue. See map below.

Major closures: Promenade Place from Bonneville Avenue to Clark Avenue, Clark Avenue from Promenade Place to Grand Central Parkway.  North lane with remain open on Clark Avenue. See map below.

Saturday, April 21 

Annual parade that displays multi-cultural celebration floats, costumes, music, and dance.
Closures start at 4 p.m. April 21.
Closures reopen at 9 p.m. April 21.
Major closures: Fremont Street from 14th Street to Seventh Street and all streets in between, 14th Street from Ogden Avenue to Fremont Street. See map below. 

Updated Carnaval Mardi Gras

Cosplay Festival
Saturday and Sunday, April 28-29 

Cosplay Festival brings other cosplayers to play, display, share, educate and exchange their work with others.
Closures will be in effect from 2 to 7 p.m. April 28 and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 29. 
Major closures: Hoover Avenue between Fourth Street and the alley way east of Fourth Street. See map below.
