Eighth Judicial District Court is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Management Analyst I/II (District Court - Employee & Labor Relations/Office of Diversity) position.  This position supports the Court’s efforts to maintain a fair, respectful, and compliant workplace by assisting with employee and labor relations matters, equal employment compliance, and diversity initiatives. 

Key duties include assisting with internal and external labor relations matters, responding to complaints of discrimination under Title VII, the ADA, and District Court policy, conducting investigations and preparing reports. This position also processes workplace and public accommodation requests, prepares EEO and demographic reports, supports new hire orientations and training, and assists with responses to EEOC and NERC charges. 

This role contributes to effective employee relations and ensures compliance with fair employment laws while supporting the Court’s commitment to equity and professionalism.

Management Analyst I is the entry level in the professional analytical series. Initially under close supervision, incumbents perform the routine project, analytical and support duties while learning County policies and procedures and specific techniques and regulations related to the area performed under more general supervision. This class is alternately staffed with Management Analyst II and incumbents may advance to the higher level after gaining experience and demonstrating proficiency, which meet the qualifications for the higher level class.

Management Analyst II is the experienced level in this series, fully competent to perform a wide variety of professional level duties. This class is distinguished from Senior Management in that the latter typically has multiple project or program responsibilities in a large department or provides support to the County Manager and/or the Board of Commissioners that involves multiple departments, programs or projects.

Management Analyst I: $32.77 – $48.43
Management Analyst II: $35.38 – $52.32

Some positions may be used to fill term Limited-Permanent positions.  The selected candidates will be hired for a special project or duties of a limited duration and be required to sign a term of employment letter specifying condition and exact dates of employment. Some positions may be Grant Funded. Grant Funded positions are subject to continuation based on availability of grant funds and the employee will be terminated without right of appeal when such funds are no longer available.
