The Eighth Judicial District Court is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Court Division Administrator (LABOR RELATIONS MANAGER) position.   Ideal candidate requires extensive background and knowledge of labor laws as primary duties include providing guidance and advice to Court management regarding complex employee labor relations issues, as well as  interpretation and administration of policies and procedure.  The successful candidate must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to provide clear explanation of sound decision making.

The Clark County Risk Management Division is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Employee Benefits Technician. The position is responsible for performing technical and specialized work processing employee benefits such as workers' compensation, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and disability management for Clark County employees. Clark County's workers' compensation program is self-insured, and FMLA claims are administered in-house. This position will review, process and prepare a variety of claim documents, identify issues and ensure adherence to federal and state regulatory requirements as well as applicable collective bargaining agreements. The position will also act as a liaison with internal departments, medical providers and third-party administrators, and participate in various meetings or trainings to explain employee leave of absence programs, policies and procedures.

The Clark County Public Works Department is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Traffic Systems Technician I/II position.  The position conducts field installation, maintenance, and repair of existing traffic signals, pedestrian flashers, and school flasher facilities. The ideal candidate will be a part of the Traffic Signal Unit and report to the Traffic Systems Supervisor.

This is an open and continuous recruitment, scheduling dates will vary depending on when the application was received and reviewed by Human Resources.

Traffic Systems Technician I: $25.48 - $39.47 Hourly 
Traffic Systems Technician II: $27.48 - $42.53 Hourly 
 
The Traffic Systems Technician I is a training underfill position, upon successful completion of the training program the successful candidate will be non-competitively promoted to Traffic Systems Technician II.
 
This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months at either level or may be extended as needed by Human Resources.
