The Air Quality Bureau has updated both NSR and Title V fees to incorporate the Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjustments as required by 20.2.75 and 20.2.71 NMAC, respectively.
NSR Construction Permit Fees:
- The new NSR fee point is $523.
- The GCP & Streamline permit fee for new facilities is $5,230.
- The new Relocation Fee is $523.
- The new NSR annual fee is now $2,492.
Title V Fees:
- The new Title V annual fee is $39.44 per ton.
- The corresponding Title V HAP fee is $250.70 per ton.
Changed documents: The following documents have been updated to reflect these changes:
- All the GCP application forms (Multi-Forms)
- The Universal Application Form
- The Construction Permit Fee Calculator
How much should I submit with my application? For applications requiring a $500 filing fee, continue to submit $500 with the application. You will be invoiced the correct balance due for the permit fee. For applications that require the full permit fee to be paid with the application submit the following:
-
$5,230 should be submitted with all GCP and Streamline applications.
-
$523 should be submitted with all Relocation applications
More information about these fees and the CPI methodology used to adjust them on an annual basis can be found at: https://www.env.nm.gov/air-quality/permit-fees-2/
Important Update: Annual NSR Fee Invoices have been delayed due to staffing and technical issues. Please know that we are working diligently to correct the problems and will send them out as soon as they are available. The due date for payments will accommodate this delay and we apologize for the inconvenience.
