GCP-O&G Transition Schedule
Plus, GCP-O&G Stack Requirements Explained
The Department would like to send out a reminder about the GCP-Oil &Gas transition schedule.
- By January 27, 2019, each GCP-1 or GCP-4 permit holder is required to notify the Department if your facility will transition to the new GCP-O&G or a different type of permit. Please use the linked form (below) to report your intentions for each facility currently operating under a GCP-1 or GCP-4.
- To balance the AQB Permitting workload, a limited number of transition permits will be scheduled for each month through July 2021. The transition schedule will ensure that all companies will have at least three months to prepare the application prior to the month scheduled for submittal.
- The form allows companies to notify the Department the month they prefer to schedule for submittal of their transition application. The Department will consider the preferences (first come, first served) when developing the transition schedule. The Department will notify each permit holder when the transition schedule is finalized so that they will know which month their application is required to be received.

- If we do not receive your company's required notification on or before January 27, 2019, we will assign your company's transition schedule, allowing approximately three months notice of the required submittal date.
