Single sided printing is not beneficial to the environment and consumes our limited archival space.  Where previously we accepted applications printed single-sided the Air Quality Bureau is now requiring applications to be submitted double sided.

In this version of the first section of the Universal Application (UA1), the Air Quality Bureau is now requiring acknowledgement on the first page that all permit applications be submitted double-sided.  This update is necessary to reduce the amount of paper submitted, and will achieve multiple objectives, including fulfilling a Department directive to reduce paper consumption, reduce archival space needed to house the physical applications, and help the environment by reducing waste and natural resources.  This requirement is consistent with the air quality regulations that require applicants to fill out forms provided by the Department. Permit applications received after August 1, 2017, which are prepared and submitted single-sided, will be ruled administratively incomplete.   Thank you for your assistance in this request.  If you have any questions, please contact Elizabeth Bisbey-Kuehn using the following contact information.
