25th Anniversary Celebration:

May 3, 10am-2pm

Please join us in celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Gutierrez-Hubbell House and Bernalillo County Open Space! Dancing, live music and many activities for children. Food truck will be on site.

Opening day for new exhibit on the recent history of the house and property. Learn about the inspiring history of how a grassroots effort successfully saved the house and property from development! No fee or reservations required.

Bird Walk - Global Big Day:

May 10, 9:30am-11pm

Join BernCo Master Naturalist and avid birder David Buckley and be a part of the Global Big Day, an annual celebration of birds around the world. David will explain the Global Big Day, then head out for a group bird walk around Gutiérrez-Hubbell Open Space to find, count and learn about our area’s birds.

Earth Day is an annual event, officially held on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now has grown to include a wide range of events in more than 193 countries.

The Gutierrez-Hubbell House/BernCo Open Space would like to thank the following people:
