With wildfire season approaching, PNM is alerting customers in high-risk areas—including the East Mountains, Santa Fe, Ruidoso, and more—that extreme weather could trigger a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS). These shutoffs prevent power lines from sparking wildfires and will only occur when necessary.
PNM urges residents to stay informed and prepare emergency kits in case of an outage. Click the link above to find out more about potential PSPS in your area.
