Our Jujube trees have produced many fruits this year!
The Jujube fruit, sometimes called Chinese date is sweet and nutritious. Jujube trees originate from Southwest Asia and grow well across New Mexico and the Southwest. Jujube fruits are eaten fresh, dried, boiled, stewed and baked and are used to flavor tea.
Be careful when picking fruit as not to harm the tree and branches.
