|
On Nov. 18, 2022, at 8 a.m., multiple deputies will start a 48-hour run that is broken up into four segments. Every four hours, deputies will run four miles for 48 hours, for a total of 48 miles.
This challenge was inspired by ex-Navy Seal David Goggins who named it the 4x4x48 run. This run will take place at Balloon Fiesta Park. The deputies that are participating have sought out donation/pledges for each leg they complete, and those donations will be given to the families of the four men lost in the Metro 2 crash.

Archaeologists have found the ruins of a Cretan temple found beneath thousands of tons of ash and have connected it to the legendary lost civilization of the Minoans. In addition, they have also found remains of the Minoans themselves. Thanks to scientific technology and historical evidence, the mythical and beautiful Minoans will rise again. We will view a short documentary and examine this great discovery as we discuss which DNA markers are most identified with this ancient culture.
