Summer Internship Opportunities!!
Additionally, organizations within the Bernalillo County are being asked to help provide internship opportunities for high school aged youth. This is an amazing opportunity to assist in the career development of Bernalillo County youth. The payroll administration for this internship program, will be facilitated by Bernalillo County.
Employers choosing to mentor high school interns will be asked to complete and sign an intern request form that provides key information used to match student interns for placement at appropriate worksites.

Join us for the dedication of Bernalillo County’s newest public art piece “Silverado Skies” by artist Gail Christofferson. The ceremony will take place Friday, May 6 at 4:30 p.m. at Bernalillo County @ Alvarado Square located at 415 Silver SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.

Bernalillo County Fire Department would like to invite you to attend our Public Safety Dodgeball Tournament!
This Tournament will be played by public safety members in and around the Albuquerque Metro area. The event will take place on May 7 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Taft Middle School gymnasium. The tournament is open to the public to watch and there will be food and prizes! All proceeds from this event will go to Special Olympics New Mexico through Law Enforcement Torch Run. We have 16 teams competing in best of three match style format and we will be live streaming the entire event. We hope you will join us for some food, fun, and laughs.
