Basic Recycling Tip
As a rule, clean cardboard containers ARE recyclable and foam of any kind is NOT. Egg cartons are a good example of the choice we have at point-of-purchase to opt for a more environmentally responsible option. When you choose items packaged in cardboard AND recycle the cardboard, you reduce the amount of waste going to the landfill and you send the cardboard back into the system to be recovered, pulped and reused to make new products.
