Did you know?
The first session of the Bernalillo County Commission was held on April 3, 1876! The Bernalillo County Board of County Commissioners has a long and storied past, going back to 1875 when the New Mexico Territorial Legislature directed the Probate Judge of each county to appoint three Commissioners.
Unfortunately, we’re missing some information about some of our past Commissioners past and we need YOUR help!
Do you know one of our past Commissioners? – Or do you happen to be related to one?
Either way, we’re inviting the public to help the county to fill in the gaps over the years with information and photos of past County Commissioners.
Click here to see which Commissioners we’re missing information from.
If you have photos of a past Commissioner, please contact Bernalillo County at info@bernco.gov.
We thank everyone for your help!
