Bernalillo County Public Works is alerting drivers, businesses and residents in the vicinity of the Bridge Boulevard/Tower Road and Old Coors intersection, that the intersection will be closed periodically as AUI, Inc. performs asphalt paving operations through the intersection.
Paving has been tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 16 and Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. both days, weather permitting.
This paving will be performed under live traffic conditions and will involve lane closures going both east and west bound. There will also be periodic closures for south and north bound lanes of the intersection when paving crews are crossing through the intersection.
Traffic is advised to detour by using Gonzales Road for south bound traffic north of the intersection and San Ygnacio Road for north bound traffic south of the intersection.
This work is being performed in anticipation of the completion of the final asphalt surfacing throughout the project limits.
For questions or concerns, contact BernCo Public Works-Technical Services at 505-848-1534.
