Those zip codes are 87105, 87108, 87102, 87121, 87123, and 87104.

Bernalillo County commissioners have approved $2 million in recovery funding for the county’s recent ransomware issue.
The county has incurred costs, so far, totaling roughly $191,000, for the replacement of laptops affected by the malware.
The county cyber insurance policy has a limit of $2 million. The deductible is $250,000, with half of that being paid by New Mexico Counties due to the strength of Bernalillo County's security controls. The full cost of the investigation and recovery is expected to exceed the $250,000 deductible.
The county will be submitting for reimbursement with its cyber-insurer, all costs related to containment, investigation, and recovery.

Every year, many of us make New Year’s resolutions to eat healthier, exercise more, or clean out our clutter. So for 2022, why not try a new kind of resolution?
Therefore, we invite you to take the pledge and commit to collecting two large bags of litter a month, which would equal to 2,072 pounds of trash a year.
Not only do we need to reduce the trash we produce, but we also need to clean up what we’ve dumped on the ground in the first place. Collecting two bags of trash a month is super easy and can be a great exercise activity as well – all while working to make our community one of the cleanest and healthiest in the southwest!
To support this initiative, the first 50 households to pledge in collecting two bags per month will be provided with one trash grabber, bags, and gloves. All participants will also be entered in a quarterly raffle! (Prizes will be announced soon).
Interested in taking the pledge? Fill out and submit the pledge form here!
For questions, please send an e-mail to mluna@bernco.gov for more information.
