Join us for the 3rd Annual Touch-A-Truck Event Tomorrow!
 Our 3rd Annual Touch A Truck event will be held this Thursday, August 21st from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This event will be held in the parking lot at the Kennedy Center. Children are invited to this silent event (no sirens or loud noises) and will have the opportunity to touch and explore Township trucks and other specialty vehicles. We look forward to seeing you there!
TOWNSHIP COUNCIL CELEBRATES POLICE DEPARTMENT ACCREDITATION, DENOTES AUGUST AS IMMUNIZATION AND OVERDOSE AWARENESS MONTH DURING COUNCIL MEETING
 Township Council members celebrated members of the Willingboro Police Department on the occasion of their police accreditation during last night's Council meeting. The accreditation is a reflection of the department's dedication to operation excellence and continuous improvement in public safely services. During her remarks, Mayor Whitified thanked the police department for their commitment to ensuring the safety of Willingboro residents and stellar community engagement.
Other highlights included two proclamations designating August as Immunization Awareness and Overdose Awareness Month respectively and an update regarding the vision and goals of the Recreation and Parks Department.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd. Meetings are held in the Municipal Complex (in the courtroom) and begin at 7:00 pm.
EIGHTEEN CADETS CELEBRATED AT THIS YEAR'S YOUTH POLICE ACADEMY GRADUATION
 Congratulatory wishes are extended to the 18 cadets who participated in this year's Annual Youth Police Academy. A graduation celebration was held on Friday, August 8th. Township officials, family members and friends were in attendance as the cadets were celebrated for their dedication and commitment to the academy. Cadets participated in three weeks of training designed to expose them to many different aspects related to a career in law enforcement. Highlights included firearms training, military drills, SWAT demonstrations and visits with key law enforcement personnel in the county. This is the department's 15th year hosting this academy which is open to high school students who are interested in a career in law enforcement.

Our Senior Zumba Class takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. This class is for ages 60 and up.

Our Adult Zumba Class takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. This class is for ages 18 and up.

WILLINGBORO PUBLIC LIBRARY AND POLICE DEPARTMENT PARTNER TO HOST FAMILY SESSION
 Family members with children, ages 12 and up, are invited to a session geared towards family engagement. The session, a collaboration between the library and the police department, will include games, opportunities to connect and strengthen communication. The session will be held at the library on Thursday, August 21st and will begin at 6:00 pm.

 Tickets are now available for this year's Boro En Blanc! Tickets are $75 per person and there is a two-ticket purchase minimum. Reservations limited to 200 guests.
All are invited to grab your squad, assemble your fabulous outfits, hats & fascinators and plan to join us for a fancy outdoor dinner party like you have never seen before in Willingboro! If you wish to sit with a particular group or group leader, please purchase your tickets in the assigned group. You and your guests are encouraged to sign up for the same group to be seated together. In the event a group you are interested in has more than eight guests, you may request to sit near a specific guest at the time of your ticket purchase.
Remember we won't be disclosing the location until the day of the event, but we promise you that you are in for a treat! Live music and entertainment are on deck and a few special surprises! Willingboro will be THE place to be on Saturday, September 6th! Purchase your tickets ASAP because once they are gone - they are gone! If you missed it last year, don't make the same mistake twice. Make sure you are part of this magical experience!
42nd ANNUAL JAZZ FEST BRINGS RESIDENTS TOGETHER FOR GOOD MUSIC AND COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP

 Our Citizen Police Academy is BACK! Step inside the world of law enforcement and connect with your local officers by participating in open discussions about law enforcement challenges and community safety.
