SCHOOL BOND REFERENDUM
TOWN HALL MEETING SCHEDULE
March 11 Bond Referendum Proposes Restoring Classroom Space
 From the Willingboro School District:
Did you know Willingboro's’ public elementary schools do not have gyms? Physical Education activities take place in converted classrooms. Creating gym annexes - about half the size of a high school gym - would restore much-needed classroom space, helping to keep class sizes smaller and academic outcomes higher.
The March 11 bond referendum proposes gym annexes at Hawthorne Park, Twin Hills and W.R. James Elementary Schools. They would be about half the size of a standard high school gym -- large enough for a half basketball court, storage areas and restrooms. Separate entrances from the main building and security barriers would prevent access to the schools when used for after-school programs or community use.
