McIntosh and Anderson Elected as Mayor and Deputy Mayor at 2024 Reorganization Meeting

County dignitaries, special guests, family, friends, and residents gathered last evening for the 2024 Reorganization Meeting. Senator Troy Singleton was on hand to administer the oath of office for Dr. Tiffani Worthy, Samantha Whitfield, and Kaya McIntosh as they embrace their second term of office. Congratulatory wishes are extended to Kaya McIntosh, and Nathaniel Anderson who were elected as Mayor and Deputy Mayor, respectively. After receiving the oath of office administered by Congressman Andy Kim, Mayor McIntosh addressed the audience and encouraged residents to not only expect more from government leaders, the Township, and each other but to expand the possibilities and continue to build a community that is focused on progress and prosperity! Wishing the best of 2024 to our Township Council! |

COUNCIL PRESENTS MLK PROCLAMATION DURING REORGANIZATION MEETING
During last night's Reorganization Meting, the Township Council presented a proclamation in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 15, 2024. Residents were encouraged to honor the legacy of Dr. King by rendering service, participating in celebratory events and other opportunities geared towards honoring Dr. King. The Volunteer Center of Burlington County's MLK Day Unity Celebration Planning Committee is hosting a day to celebrate, entitled "Live, Love & Serve". The Department of Community Affairs, in collaboration with Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. is hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Monday, January 8th! If you are in need of a COVID-19 or flu vaccine, stop by the Reva Foster Senior Center on Monday between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. All are welcome and no appointment is needed! Dear Willingboro Township Public Schools Community,
As the Board of Education, Administration, and the Strategic Planning Committee continue to develop the Willingboro Township Public Schools 2024-2029 Strategic Plan, we are asking for the school district Community Stakeholders' perspectives on the school district's strengths, achievements, challenges, initiatives, student skills, qualities, and characteristics for the future of our school district.
To gather your perspectives, we welcome your participation in our Willingboro Township Public Schools Strategic Plan Stakeholder Input Survey. The survey should take at most 15 minutes of your time to complete. You can use the link below to access the survey. Responses are due by midnight on January 5th.
