2023 JUNETEENTH FESTIVAL - A DAY OF CULTURAL CELEBRATION & COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP!
Special thanks to everyone who joined us for this year's Juneteenth celebration. It was a great afternoon of cultural celebration, music, entertainment and community fellowship! WFD CELEBRATES 2023 CITIZEN FIRE ACADEMY GRADUATES
Congratulations to the 2023 Citizen Fire Academy members who were celebrated at an end-of-year ceremony on Wednesday, June 14th. Five citizens participated in an eight-week academy hosted by the Willingboro Fire & EMS Department, covering topics such as fire safety, CPR certification, search and rescue procedures, and vehicle extrication. On June 14th, fire department officials presented certificates of completion and tokens of appreciation to the following: Kathleen Timperio-Adams, Denesha Ransome, Claudius Parke, Lee Woolfolk, and Michelle Velasquez. Congratulations to all!

Straight to Treatment is a program created by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office to help those who are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free. This program is designed to assist individuals who need help with overcoming their addiction.
A team of professionals will be at the Willingboro Township Police Department every Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm working together to provide those who suffer from addiction an opportunity to get help and guidance to recovery and reduce the impact of drug abuse in our community.
No appointment or insurance necessary.

The Willingboro Department of Veterans Affairs, in collaboration with the Newark Regional Office - Department of Veterans Affairs, is hosting an information seminar and consultation clinic on Saturday, July 1st. 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop - Saturday, July 8th!
The Willingboro Recreation and Parks Department will host a cabaret on Saturday, July 8th, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop music. Doors will open at 6:00 pm at The 429 Banquet Hall, Kennedy Center. Special guests include Mr. Cheeks and Brand Nubian! Come decked out in your favorite hip hop gear and join us for this cabaret style celebration. Bring your own food and drinks and we will provide the music and great atmosphere. 40th ANNIVERSARY OF OUR NATIONAL NIGHT OUT - MONDAY, JULY 31st
As we prepare for the 40th anniversary of our National Night Out, please plan to join us for an evening of fun activities, K-9 demonstrations, face painting, a dunk tank and more! Sponsored by our police department, this event is geared toward building police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This year's event will be held on Monday, July 31st from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Millcreek Park. All are invited.
