On Tuesday, January 31st, Detective James Howard signed off for the last time as a Detective with the Willingboro Police Department. Surrounded by a tunnel of "Willingboro love", Detective Howard ended his last shift with a final sign-off on the radio, receiving a "We got it from here" from the radio operator! With 23 years under his belt, Detective Howard was noted for his dedication to the protection and well-being of Willingboro residents. Congratulations Detective Howard! Enjoy your retirement!
This morning, Mayor McIntosh, and Deputy Mayor Whitfield joined our Township Manager and members of the DPW team to mark the opening of Buckingham Drive. The road has been closed since June while our engineers worked to replace corroded metal pipes and replace them with plastic ones. Repaving of the road is expected to occur in the spring. Special thanks to our Buckingham Park residents for their patience and understanding during this process.
