TRUNK O TREAT- THIS SATURDAY - October 29th!
This Saturday, October 29th, the Willingboro Recreation and Parks Department will host its Annual Trunk O' Treat event. Children ages 12 and under are invited to bring their treat bags and have them filled with plenty of goodies and special surprises.
All children must be in costume and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The event will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Kennedy Center. Candy will be distributed while supplies last.

The new booster shot, and all other vaccines will be available for everyone aged six months and older on Monday, October 31st. As part of their commitment to offering vaccination clinics to the Willingboro community at least twice a month, the Department of Community Affairs is hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in partnership with Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. and Camden Coalition. The clinic will be held at the Reva Foster Senior Center and available from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. All are all welcome! For more information, call 609-877-8444. |

The Beloved Project of NJ and the Willingboro Township Police Department are teaming up to fight against hunger and homelessness. Donations of toiletries and other essentials are currently being collected and will continue through October 28th. Items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, washcloths, wipes, body wash, etc. are welcome.
Items will be collected and assembled into toiletry bags and given to those in need.
There is a collection box near the front entrance of the Police Department and in the lobby of the Municipal Complex.

The Willingboro Township Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm unless otherwise noted. All meetings are open to the public. The meetings are currently being held via Zoom and streamed live on the Willingboro Township website until further notice. To join via the livestream, click here. The link will go live at the start of the Council meeting.

Fresh Fridays, hosted by the Willingboro Community Development Corp and Willingboro Hands, is held on the first Friday of the month. The next event will be held on Friday, November 4th at the Jesus is Lord Church, 4276 Route 130 North. The event will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you at this year's Veterans Day parade. The celebration will be held on Friday, November 11th.
Festivities will include a ceremony which will be held at the Kennedy Center beginning at 11:00 am; the unveiling of the Veterans Parkway (formerly Levitt Parkway - effective November 1st) and will conclude with a parade alongside the newly renamed parkway traveling up to the Municipal Complex.

On July 5, 2022, the Willingboro Township Council approved Ordinance 2022-8, effectively renaming Levitt Parkway (CR 629) to Veterans Parkway. On September 28th, the Burlington County Board of County Commissioners authorized the name change and approved the installation of signs. The renaming of the road stretching from U.S. Route 130 to Springside Road will go into effect officially on November 1, 2022. Please make note of the change and plan accordingly.

Leaf Collection is underway! Residents are advised to rake their leaves to the curb as early as possible to ensure an efficient collection. Flyers were sent to all residents regarding collections, holiday schedules, and important reminders. Please plan accordingly.
