Wild Animal Experts: Reptiles!

After school is a great time to take a nature walk and discover new facts about New Jersey's wildlife! Join a naturalist to learn about a new animal every month. This session will focus on the reptiles of New Jersey. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay and take part.

We invite little visitors and their grown-ups for a story time, craft project, and snack. This week we learn about how clothes are dyed before tie dying a beautiful suncatcher.

Art in Bloom

Join us for a magnificent art show of local artists' original paintings accompanied by floral arrangement interpretations of their work. All the artwork will be available for sale. This year's Art in Bloom will take place in the Frelinghuysen Arboretum's Mansion. Friends of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum members will receive a 20% discount. Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work with metal? Learn basic safety, fire management, hammer control, tapering, bending, and twisting. Use the skills to make small projects to take home. Cost includes all tools and materials.

Mennen Arena Will be Closed on June 9
Due to a major plumbing issue identified with the facility’s sewage pit, we have decided to address this promptly, or else, it could lead to a serious failure. While we have a limited window to complete the work, this repair is essential for the safety and continued operation of the facility.
