Maple Sugaring Demos
February 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23
Learn how to identify and tap maple trees, collect sap, and make real maple syrup over a wood-fired evaporator. Finish with a syrup taste test! This program will be held indoors and outdoors, so dress for the weather. Syrup will be available for purchase, while supplies last. Register here

Winter's Day on the Farm

Three Centuries of Hearth Cooking: An Adult Cooking Workshop

Explore the history of American cuisine, cooking methods, and food customs over an open-hearth fire. Each month this Winter, we explore a different period of American life through the recipes and cooking techniques of 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. This month, we are preparing, sampling and sending home a dish from the 18th century. Our morning session is intended for adults with some cooking experience. Register here
