Puddle Jumpers: Magnificent Monarchs

Monarch Butterfly migration is underway as they make their way to Mexico for the winter. After we learn about their life cycle, we will "migrate" on the trails, facing many "dangers" along the way.

Floral Arranging with Supermarket Flowers

Using supermarket flowers, create a seasonal arrangement perfect for the autumn table. Ann Fahey, Superintendent of Horticulture Education, will demonstrate how to design beautiful floral arrangements with both supermarket flowers and fall seasonal materials such as grasses and branches. Time for a tree challenge! Explore the native forest while completing your Forestry Merit Badge. Walk the trails of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, create a field notebook, find native and non-native trees and learn how to plant trees and start others from seed.
