Skulls and Bones

No bones about it, vertebrates have interesting skeletons! Compare yours to other species and examine real mammal, reptile, and bird skulls, looking for clues as to who they belong to. We'll also take a close look at the kinds of teeth that mammals have as we munch on apple slices and carrots. Then, go on a short hike to search for mystery bones! Sign up here.

Seed Starting for a Successful Vegetable Garden

Seed catalogs are here, and packets are in the stores. It's time to think about - and start -- plants for your vegetable garden. Learn how to save time and money in this vegetable seed starting workshop.  Each participant will plant, and take-home interesting, new varieties started for their garden. Register here.

Adventures in STEM: Frog Science!

In this series, young scientists explore different parts of the natural world through experiments and activities, making surprising discoveries along the way. Join us to conduct a scientific study to collect data on which frogs are calling in each forest pool! Click here to register.

Floral Arranging with Supermarket Flowers: Spring Blooms

Tulip and Daffodil blooms are here!  Bring your own bunch --or any bunch-- from the supermarket and learn ways to arrange them into a spectacular arrangement as well as how to keep them fresher longer.  We supply the container and greens, and you supply the flowers. Enroll here.

Egg Coloring with Natural Dyes

In this 45-minute program each family will receive a dozen hard boiled eggs to dye using natural ingredients. Crayons will be provided to draw on eggs. Register here.
