Celebrate the 50th gardening season of Branching Out!
Branching Out! is a gardening program that will help kids develop their own green thumbs by tending their own plots, harvesting what grows, performing all kinds of crazy science experiments, using their gardens to inspire and create, or learn ways to use – and eat – what they grow.
Ages 6 – 13 • 9 am – 12 noon • $450 per camper per two-week session
July 3 – July 14 (no camp July 4)
STEM: How does it grow? What does it need? When is harvest? Kids use STEM skills to explore their gardens.
July 17 – July 28
CREATE: Get creative in the garden! Kids will discover beauty in their gardens and use what they find to make garden crafts and masterpieces from flower pounding to soap-making.
July 31 – August 4
EAT: Gardens will be producing fruits and vegetables like crazy and kids will spend the two weeks harvesting their gardens and then preparing snacks to eat straight from their plots.
