Whether you’re racing to a great summer job opportunity, some old-fashioned fun, or our biggest competition of the year, we’ve got you covered.
 

Here are the details:
  

  • Summer Job Fair from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at the Fort Monmouth Recreation Center, Tinton Falls. Discover exciting summer job opportunities available within the Park System. Visit our Jobs in the Parks page for details. Admission and parking are free.
       
  • Accordion Melodies of the 1890s from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at Historic Longstreet Farm, Holmdel. Hear melodies of the 1890s played on the accordion during your visit. FREE!
      
  • E. Murray Todd Half-Marathon at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 9 at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft. This 13.1-mile race takes runners through Lincroft, Holmdel and Colts Neck. Race-day registration begins at 7 a.m. and costs $60 per runner; cash, check or credit card. See racer info. Download registration form.
      
  • Gelli® Printing Mixed Media Class from 6:30-9 p.m. on Thursdays, March 20-April 10 at the Henry Hudson Trail Activity Center, Leonardo. Explore masking, pattern making, and image transfer techniques during this class led by Monique Topp. Pre-registration and fee required.
       
  • Morning Meditation from 9-10:30 a.m. on Fridays, March 21-April 11 at Big Brook Park, Marlboro. Find out how to set a positive tone for your morning through breath control, imagery and mindfulness. Pre-registration and fee required.
