You're Invited: Premiere of Superstorm Sandy Preservation Documentary

October is American Archives Month, and this October marks the 10th Anniversary of Superstorm Sandy and its impact on our region. To preserve Monmouth County’s history as it relates to the Storm of the Century, County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon is honored to debut The Jersey Storm: Sandy in Monmouth County. This 20 minute documentary film will be presented to the public as part of Monmouth University’s Superstorm Sandy 10th Anniversary events. The premiere will be held at Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre on Friday, October 28 at 1:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public. See Monmouth University's event page for more information.

Early Voting

Early Voting Period Begins Saturday

Clerk Hanlon is reminding voters that early in-person voting for the 2022 General Election begins this Saturday, October 29 at designated polling locations in Monmouth County.

Last year, a new State law was passed mandating this new early voting option for New Jersey voters. This option allows voters to cast their ballots in person, using voting machines, during a nine-day period preceding Election Day. With this new option, New Jersey voters have more ways and more days to vote!

Early voting will be available at 10 designated polling locations in Monmouth County from Saturday, October 29 through Sunday, November 6 with the hours of Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Voters can cast their ballots at any of the 10 designated polling locations regardless of where they live in the County.

BallotTrax

Clerk Hanlon is encouraging Monmouth County voters who vote by mail for the 2022 General Election to sign up for the County’s enhanced ballot tracking notification system. BallotTrax, the County’s ballot tracking system, allows voters to keep tabs on the status of their mail-in ballots.

Voters who sign up for the Monmouth County BallotTrax will receive alerts of when their ballots are received by the County Board of Elections for counting. Notifications can be enabled by text message or email. Sign up for the free system at MonmouthBallotTrax.com.
