The Recorder

Tomorrow, July 7, 2020 is Primary Election Day!

election

Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon is reminding Monmouth County voters that tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7, 2020 is the New Jersey Primary Election.

According to the Governor’s Executive Orders, the election is being held primarily via Vote by Mail with limited polling places on Election Day where only paper provisional ballots will be available to vote, except for disabled voters who will be permitted to vote on a machine. To find your polling place specifically for the Primary Election, please click here.

Some voters mailed their Vote by Mail application to the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office after the State-mandated deadline of June 30, 2020. Any application received by mail after the deadline cannot be processed and therefore, these voters will not receive a mail-in ballot by mail.

However, voters who have not received a mail-in ballot can still apply for and receive a mail-in ballot in person by visiting the Monmouth County Clerk’s Election Office at 300 Halls Mill Road in Freehold today or tomorrow. Applications can be submitted in person until 4:30 p.m. today, July 6 and up until 8 p.m. tomorrow, Election Day, July 7. Or, such voters can go to their Primary Election polling place on Election Day and vote via provisional paper ballot.
