During this special time of Thanksgiving, we pause to count our blessings. We are thankful for the freedom of this great country that we live in, its opportunity for achievement, and the brave men and women who have and continue to defend our way of life.

I extend my best wishes and warmest thoughts to you and your family for a wonderful Thanksgiving. May the beginning of the holiday season bring you an abundance of health and happiness and continue throughout the coming year.

Thank You to Our Veterans for their Service and Sacrifice

During this National Veterans and Military Families Month, Clerk Hanlon would like to remind our veterans that the Monmouth County Clerk's Office issues Veterans’ Cards to Monmouth County residents who served our country in active military duty.

These cards give our local veterans the ability to receive valuable discounts from Monmouth County retailers and establishments that participate in the Clerk's "Honoring our Heroes” program. Veterans’ Cards can be obtained in our Freehold and Neptune Offices by providing a driver’s license and original DD-214 "Report of Separation" form.

Each veteran who obtains a card will also receive our Discount Guidebook which lists the many stores, restaurants, and businesses gratefully committed to offering products and/or service discounts to Monmouth County veterans. Businesses interested in participating in the "Honoring our Heroes" Program can visit our website at MonmouthCountyClerk.com for more information.
