Important Travel Notice Regarding Digital IDs
The U.S. Department of State has released a public notice informing that digital identification documents, such as drivers licenses, which can be viewed on a cell phone with a mobile app, are not acceptable when applying for a U.S. passport.
All passport applicants must continue to present identification in the form of a physical document.
Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon, Esq. encourages residents in need of passport services to visit one of our three convenient passport offices in Freehold, Neptune, or Eatontown. For more information, please visit our website at MonmouthCountyClerk.com.
