Election News! Primary Election Petition Filing Deadline Coming Up Soon

The deadline to file a partisan petition for the June 5th Primary Election is Monday, April 2nd at 4 p.m., which is less than two weeks away.

County Candidate Petitions are available from the Monmouth County Clerk's Elections Office which is located at 300 Halls Mill Road in Freehold. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and can be reached at 732-431-7790.

Municipal Candidate Petitions can be obtained from the Municipal Clerk in each municipality.

County Clerk’s Passport Offices Receive National Recognition for Passport Services

Clerk Hanlon is proud to announce that the Monmouth County Clerk’s Passport Offices have been recognized by the U.S. Department of State for their excellent passport services. 

The County Clerk’s Freehold Passport Office and Monmouth County Connection received a Certificate of Achievement which honors exemplary service to the community and the U.S. Department of State through the conscientious execution of passport applications, excellence in customer service, and commitment to measures that ensure the integrity of the U.S. passport.
