Employee Updates: Holiday Toy Drive ends Friday; Pearl Harbor event tomorrow

Important updates for County employees!

HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE COLLECTION ENDS FRIDAY, DEC. 8

Please note that the deadline to donate a holiday gift to the annual Holiday Toy Drive has been changed to Friday, Dec. 8. If you wish to donate, please do so as soon as possible. Toys can be dropped off at a number of convenient locations around the county. Donations received past Dec. 8 will also be given to children in need.

“The holidays are upon us, and as you shop for your friends and family, I encourage you to consider adding to your list a gift for a child whose family might be struggling at this time of year,” said County Executive Brian M. Hughes. “Even the smallest or simplest item can bring a smile to a child’s face, so let's make this year's collection bigger than ever.”

PEARL HARBOR DAY REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY DEC. 7

The County Executive and Veteran Services invite all employees to the annual Pearl Harbor Day Ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. at the McDade Building. The event was previously held at Mercer County Office Park.

Light refreshments will be served.
