These applications are only conducted in specific areas when deemed absolutely necessary and under the appropriate environmental conditions. These applications are done in order to bring mosquito populations to tolerable levels or to reduce the risk of mosquito-borne disease.

Truck-Mounted Mosquito Larviciding Notice

Timing: Between 8 p.m. and sunrise each day (weather permitting)
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT an area-wide adulticiding "MOSQUITO SPRAYING" activity.
Truck-Mounted larviciding will be conducted throughout the County, which includes the use of target-specific, biorational granules applied to standing water to help prevent larval mosquitoes from developing into biting adult mosquitoes.
