County to resurface section of Pennington-Hopewell Road

Due to deteriorated pavement surface conditions, Pennington-Hopewell Road (County Route 654) between NJ Route 31 and Marshalls Corner-Woodsville Road in Hopewell Township is scheduled for milling and resurfacing by the Mercer County Department of Transportation & Infrastructure. Work is expected to begin Monday, May 8, with an anticipated completion time of approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

During this project, Pennington-Hopewell Road will be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Motorists will be directed to use NJ Route 31, Marshalls Corner-Woodsville Road and Pennington-Hopewell Road. However, access will be permitted for local residents and municipal and emergency vehicles.
