Chambers Street resurfacing planned in Trenton/Hamilton
Due to deteriorated pavement surface conditions, Chambers Street (County Route 626) from Cedar Lane to South Broad Street in the City of Trenton/Hamilton Township is scheduled for milling and resurfacing. Work is expected to begin Wednesday, Sept. 28, with an anticipated completion time of approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
During this project, Chambers Street will be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; however, access will be permitted for local residents, and municipal and emergency vehicles. Motorists will be directed to use Cedar Lane, Pitman Avenue, E. Park Avenue, South Broad Street and Chambers Street. Temporary “no parking” will be posted on Chambers Street during Mercer County working hours.
