County plans Poor Farm Road bridge construction project
On or about Tuesday, May 31, a bridge construction project is scheduled to begin on Poor Farm Road culvert (Structure No. 214.19) over Jacobs Creek Tributary in Hopewell Township. Construction will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and will be completed using in-house bridge construction workers. Mercer County anticipates construction will take approximately 45 working days to complete, weather permitting.
During construction, Poor Farm Road will be closed to all traffic on a 24/7 basis. A detour will be posted directing motorists to use Harbourton-Woodsville Road, Trenton-Harbourton Road and Woosamonsa Road.
