County to resurface section of Quakerbridge Road

Due to deteriorated pavement surface conditions, Quakerbridge Road (County Route 533) between Collins Road in Hamilton Township and Village Road West/Lawrence Square Boulevard North in Lawrence Township is scheduled for milling and resurfacing, a project being overseen by the Mercer County Department of Transportation & Infrastructure, Division of Engineering. Work is expected to begin Sunday, May 15, with an anticipated completion time of approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Due to the high traffic volume on Quakerbridge Road, work will be completed during the nighttime hours of 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Friday. During this project, Quakerbridge Road will remain open to traffic with one lane in each direction at all times. Access will be permitted for local residents, and municipal and emergency vehicles.
