Tree removal project planned for Lower Ferry Road in Ewing
A tree removal project is scheduled to begin Wednesday, March 16, on Lower Ferry Road (County Route 643) from River Road to Sullivan Way in Ewing Township. The project was previously postponed due to inclement weather on Feb. 24. The Mercer County Department of Transportation and Infrastructure anticipates that this work will take approximately two days, weather permitting.
During this project, Lower Ferry Road will be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Motorists will be directed to use River Road, Wilburtha Road, West Upper Ferry Road, Grand Avenue and Sullivan Way. However, access will be permitted for local residents, and municipal and emergency vehicles.
