Guidelines available for Mercer County History & Arts Grant Programs
Application deadline is Sept. 24
TRENTON - Mercer County Executive, Brian M. Hughes, the Mercer County Board of County Commissioners, and the county’s Division of Culture and Heritage announce that application forms and guidelines for both the County’s FY22 Mercer County Local Arts Program (LAP) Grants and the Mercer County History Regrants are available. They can be accessed online on the County website https://www.mercercounty.org/departments/culture-and-heritage/grants-information or by clicking the link below.
Mercer County-based non-profits, libraries, units of local government and institutions of higher education offering arts programming and events are eligible to apply for Mercer County LAP grants. The Mercer County History Regrants support eligible County-based nonprofit historic societies, history organizations, local government entities, schools, libraries and other Mercer County non-profits offering local historic programming and events. Both programs offer an option to apply for either General Operating (GOS) or Special Project (SP) support.
Proposed projects to be funded through this FY22 round of grants must take place during the calendar year 2022 (January 1 – December 31, 2022). Deadline for submission of the FY20 grants is Friday, September 24, 2021.

The Local Arts Program (LAP) grants are made possible by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. The County’s History Regrants are made possible with funding support from the New Jersey Historical Commission’s County History Partnership Program (CHPP) and the County of Mercer. Both programs are administered by the County’s Division of Culture & Heritage, Idamis Perez Margicin, Division Chief, and supported by the County of Mercer.
