MERCER COUNTY MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS RECRUITMENT

MCDPH Staff

During a crisis people often ask, “How can I help?” The Mercer County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) can help you answer that question. (Pictured  are some of the staff of the Mercer County Division of Public Health.)

The MRC unit invites any licensed health care professional, practicing or retired, who lives or works in Mercer County and any community volunteer who lives or works in Mercer County who has an interest in health and emergency preparedness issues to join. Medical Reserve Corps volunteers supplement existing emergency and public health resources to prepare for and respond to emergencies at a local level. All volunteers receive free training.

Be a local hero! Please sign up to be an MRC volunteer on NJLMN. For more information, call (609) 989-6887.

SURVEYS

Please be advised that we have extended the deadline for the Mercer County Mental Health Needs and Barriers Survey. In the event that you haven’t yet had the opportunity to take the survey, the link will now be available until AUGUST 6, 2021.

The Mercer County Division of Mental Health is conducting a Mental Health Needs and Barriers Survey. The purpose of the survey is to better understand the mental health needs, experiences, and barriers to accessing mental health services in Mercer County, NJ. The results of the survey will help develop new resources and programs and inform the Mercer County Mental Health Plan. The Mercer County Division of Mental Health has worked in partnership NAMI Mercer and The College of New Jersey to develop this survey.

The Mercer County Mental Health Plan is intended to serve as a basis for future funding and program development and to reflect consumer and provider service priorities.

This survey is considered confidential; no names or other contact information will be recorded or linked to this survey. The link will be available through August 6, 2021. Results of the overall findings will be shared as part of a report in late 2021.
