Four welcomed to County boards, commissions
TRENTON -- Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes delivered the oath of office to new members of various Mercer County Boards and Commissions.
Newly sworn in to the Mercer County Park Commission are Antonio Martinez of Robbinsville, and Philip B. Caton of Pennington. Joining the Mercer County Board of Social Services is Eduardo Gittens of Hamilton. Sworn in as a member of the Council on Aging is Susan Levine of Princeton Junction.
Mr. Hughes thanked the new members, saying, “Mercer County depends on its citizens to serve on the various boards, and the generosity of your time and your volunteerism will help improve the quality of life for everyone in Mercer County, and I thank you.”
Mercer County’s boards and commissions, made up of citizen volunteers, advise the Hughes Administration on a wide range of policy issues and functions, including parks, planning, culture and heritage, and more. Most boards and commissions meet monthly to discuss various projects, events, programs and other pertinent issues.
