County to resurface section of Sloan Avenue in Hamilton

Due to deteriorated pavement surface conditions, Sloan Avenue (County Route 649) between the Interstate 295 overpass and Quakerbridge Road in Hamilton Township is scheduled for milling and resurfacing by the Mercer County Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. Work is expected to begin Wednesday, Sept. 23, with an anticipated completion time of approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Construction and partial closure of the roadway will occur between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and will be completed in half-width sections with single-lane, single-direction traffic maintained during this time period. Normal traffic flow will resume at all other times.
