Event Cancellations and Postponements

As public concerns and sensitivity grow about COVID-19, several groups and organizations have decided that it is in the best interest of their audience to cancel or postpone events. Mercer County will announce these cancellations on a daily basis, or as needed. You can sign up for cancellation notices and other county news at www.mercercounty.org

The Master Gardeners of Mercer County have cancelled Saturday, March 14 Symposium that was to be held at Stuart Country Day School. Please allow 4-6 weeks for refund to be processed.

The Sustainability Coalition has postponed its Green Fest, planned for March 14 at Rider University. The new date is May 30, 2020, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rider University, 2083 Lawrenceville Road.

The Mercer County Women of Achievement Award Ceremony, scheduled for March 31, has been postponed to June 30. Email for Information

County Connection will be closed Saturday, March 14. The March 24 Lawyers Care program is cancelled. Passport applications and renewals will be by appointment only. Call 609-890-9800.

Mercer County Library System is suspending all branch library programming, outreach, and the use of community rooms by outside groups beginning Friday, March 13 until further notice.

The Household Hazardous Waste Day is postponed from March 28 to June 6, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dempster Fire Training School.

Early Mercer Reads, scheduled for April 24, will be held at a later date.

March 13, Mercer County Ice Skating Center will be closed for the season. All adult, senior, and public skating lessons will be closed to the public along with any Mercer Skating School lesson and outside events and programming.

Trex Recycling Challenge has been suspended until further notice. Effective immediately, drop-off locations at the Hunt House and Tulpehaking Nature Center will not be accepting any materials.

Tulpehaking Nature Center's Winter Tree ID program for Saturday, March 14 is cancelled.

Mercer County 4-H Whoa and Go Horse Club will not meet Sunday, March 15.
