Capture the Change at the Abbott Marshlands on Saturday, March 7

Grab your cameras and Capture the Changes happening at the Abbott Marshlands!

Help us capture the change created by the Roebling Park Wetland Restoration. Since the last time this program was held, most invasive Phragmites have been treated and cutting and rolling of dead vegetation has occurred – there’s a whole new viewscape! Bring your camera and snap pictures as we hike around Spring Lake, learning about the history of the park, as well as the future. Submit your photos to help us photo-document the restoration. Each month, one visitor submitted photo will be featured at our Nature Center and online!

Contribute to this initiative by sending your photos to parksinfo@mercercounty.org. Users can also tag us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and use the hashtag #bagthephrag. Documenting this development of the marsh is important to understand the ecological benefits that will take place as this project continues.

Meet at the Tulpehaking Nature Center on Saturday, March 7. This program is free and will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
