County to resurface section of Lalor Street
Lalor Street (County Route 650) between NJ Route 129 and Liberty Street in the Township of Hamilton/City of Trenton is scheduled for milling and resurfacing by the Mercer County Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. Work is expected to begin Monday, Aug. 19, with an anticipated completion date of Aug. 30, weather permitting.
During construction, Lalor Street will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; however, access will be permitted for local businesses and residents. For all other traffic, detours will be posted as follows:
• Motorists traveling north on Lalor Street will be directed to Centre Street, Cass Street and South Broad Street.
• Motorists traveling west on South Broad Street intending to turn left on Lalor Street will be directed to remain on South Broad Street, turn left on Cass Street and then left on Centre Street.
• Local traffic on Lalor Street between Liberty Street and South Broad Street will be directed to Adeline Street, Cass Street and Centre Street.
